Transform Communications started in 2006 when I moved from London to the beautiful town of Bradford on Avon - stimulating my entrepreneurial spirit. Having worked both as a Managing Director of a PR firm in the South West and a Director of a leading independent PR consultancy, I bring a wealth of experience to my clients.
I work effectively with owners and directors, advising on strategy, and working with stakeholders including chairman and community groups. I also partner closely with marketing departments and teams on the strategic development, budgeting, execution and delivery of plans.
I've worked with clients in many different industries delivering top quality, award winning communication and marketing programmes. I bring a broad understanding of marketing and different channels of communication, promoting my clients through thought leadership campaigns, conferences, winning awards, celebrity endorsement, employee engagement programmes, regional and community stakeholder relationship building, events and exhibitions, social marketing and media relations.
I also support my clients in the creation of marketing collateral including writing brochures and working closely with designers, writing website copy, and updating service sheets. With my background as a journalist I regularly write research reports, newsletters and top-quality customer and staff communications and publications.

Sophie is an associate with Transform Communications, working closely with me on a varied client base since 2009. With a background in PR and Marketing, she is known for imagination, vision and people skills.
You couldn’t find a better person than Sophie at media relations. With a sharp and witty style, she builds great relationships with key press. A skilled copywriter, Sophie has worked for a wide variety of clients producing superb copy, advertising and publicity material.
Sophie has worked as a journalist for the broadsheets and best-selling news stand publications including: The Times T2; The Telegraph Weekend; The Telegraph Lifestyle; Top Gear; Car Magazine; Executive Woman; and Mother & Baby. Having worked as a journalist, Sophie can ‘think from the other side of the desk’ and provide editors with the news that they want. Kimberley is a senior level PR Consultant, with more than 15 years PR experience and a degree in Public Relations. She is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
Kim has worked with Transform Communications for nearly 5 years and brings extensive experience in promoting services to a B2B market for our clients. She has also worked with the Association for Coaching and other leading HR and coaching companies.
She has considerable B2B experience, with excellent media contacts in a variety of business press. Kim is a keen gardener and town and country girl. She sure knows her onions.
With over twenty years’ experience in copywriting and communications, Alex has worked with a wide range of clients, from big brands (Coca-Cola, W H Smith, The Body Shop) to the charity sector (The Prince’s Trust, RNID, 4Children), along with social enterprises, start-ups and government.
Being a writer as well as a communications professional gives Alex an edge. It lends her a strategic approach to copywriting: she doesn’t just think about content, she considers its fit within the overall strategy.
Experienced at working to a tight brief, Alex turns projects around quickly while still delivering on quality and attention to detail. She values the importance of a client’s trust, asking the right questions and listening actively to the answers. Stewart specialises in brand development and marketing services for ambitious organisations as they grow and evolve. He was a core member of the launch team for Orange and pivotal brain in the merger and launch team of Lloyds TSB. He is able to work with equal effectiveness alongside senior client management while briefing, guiding and managing creatives and other suppliers.
This ability to bridge the gap between strategic thinking and creative output is key and means that commercial objectives and branding objectives are closely aligned. The result? Projects progress efficiently and the outputs are on-brief and of high quality.
Emma keeps us all on the straight and narrow. She manages the office with ruthless, but charming efficiency from organising systems and processes, diaries and dates, to ensuring all deadlines are met.
A whizz with numbers, Emma is the go to person for all things financial. She's great at maximising our client's budgets, cleverly sourcing and liaising with different creative professionals to produce outstanding results that make us all smile.
