The Transform Communications team is up for two awards at the national 2022 CIPR Excellence Awards! We are delighted to announce that we are shortlisted for Best Small PR Consultancy, and our incredible Senior Client Lead Ellen Ridsdale is also among the finalists for Outstanding Young Communicator of the Year. We are so proud of Ellen and the rest of the Transform team for their work and dedication – fingers crossed for June’s awards ceremony.

Best Small PR Consultancy

Two years, in retrospect, doesn’t seem like a huge amount of time. 730 days. 2,920 hours – the majority of which we don’t spend working. So to look back and see what Transform has achieved in two years is something special.

The start of the pandemic was, in a word, difficult. Covid had decimated our business and it was exhausting. It took a while, but we knew what we had to do: transform. By investing in ourselves and working tirelessly, we have tripled the size of our team in two years. We have started two sister companies, Transform Digital and Transform ESG, and built their own client portfolios. We renovated our beautiful offices in Mells and have since taken on more space, which now houses our new film studio. The list could go on – but we’d rather spend the next 730 days doing something even better…

Outstanding Young Communicator

Ellen Ridsdale joined us in September 2020 as a Client Lead, having been made redundant at the height of the pandemic. Two years on, she’s our Senior Client Lead and manages a portfolio of clients from the legal, clean energy tech, and financial sectors. She also is responsible for our own marketing. Ellen’s contribution to Transform has been astonishing.

She’s helped to train our two new Account Executives, Izzy and Bobby. She’s worked closely with our clients to ensure that their expertise is communicated, tapping into hot button, contemporary topics like gender diversity and ESG. All while studying for her Level 6 Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma, making really good cups of tea and being the first person to suggest a team walk! Ellen’s passion and kindness cannot be underestimated, and we are so excited that her hard work is being recognised through such a prestigious achievement.
