Veronica has been running Transform Communications since 2007, advising and helping leaders make a difference in their businesses, in their market, with their people and with their customers. Prior to this she was the Managing Director of a PR firm in the South West and a director of Flagship Consulting, a top 50 independent London agency.
Veronica operates at senior level, advising and consulting on vision, values, marketing strategy and marketing plans with clients like Buro Happold, Penna Consulting, BAA, Sumitomo Chemical and Initiatives of Change. She supports and mentors business owners on their communications – internally and externally. With the Transform team, she brings an extension to internal marketing departments delivering plans and executing campaigns.
She has experience with all types of organisations: multi-national corporations, listed PLCs, companies acquired for investment, fast growth businesses and entrepreneurial start-ups. The go to person in times of crisis, Veronica has managed the reputation of leaders and organisations through difficult times from employment tribunals, mass redundancy programmes, mergers and acquisitions, to customer service problems and technology issues.
Veronica has a broad and in-depth understanding of how to best deploy and manage all communications including the media, customer communications, email marketing, direct marketing, social media marketing, telemarketing and face to face meetings, events and conferences.
Karolyn adds fifteen years of marketing communications experience to the team. She cut her teeth working in the not-for-profit sector in both the UK and Australia. From in-house roles with the Leukemia Foundation of Australia to press officer at the British Heart Foundation, and onto Head of Communications at Responsible Finance.
More recently, Karolyn has worked in agencies with big brands such as Cow & Gate and Aptamil, delivering a broad range of communication services, from media and public relation and consumer research to staff and member engagement campaigns, social media and film production.
Karolyn has spent considerable time in the public sector, working with both the NHS and civil service. This allowed her to gain valuable experience in crisis communications, as well as leading complex projects involving a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Holly is an immensely experienced communicator, bringing external and internal comms experience together with community engagement and activism.
She has been responsible for large scale projects, such as managing the whole programme of community comms and engagement for Highways England’s A303 Stonehenge scheme. Holly is a master at compiling extremely demanding - and legally crucial - comms programmes.
A true lover of language, she can spot a grammatical error at 20 paces. Holly tunes into each client’s particular tone of voice - either generating a style guide from scratch or ensuring it’s embedded across all channels.
From working independently to delivering high profile and emergency comms at the Environment Agency, this is one lady who thinks on her feet, gives fantastic advice and works tirelessly to get the job done.
Office Manager at Transform Communications, Emma has been with the company since February 2015. Previously, she has worked across a whole spectrum of businesses including PA/accountant to a highly successful, independent agricultural commodity broker, PA to three Directors for a Polymer company, an Operations Manager for a Video Conferencing company and Office Manager to the Director of a Nursing Expert Witness company.
All of Emma's roles have involved working closely with Directors and staff at all levels on account and project management, day to day running of the business, and all things financial. Above all she is a trustworthy, reliable and honest person.
For Transform clients she's the go to person for the operational side of the business. From running advertising campaigns, handling suppliers and getting superb deals for our clients. She's a whizz at reporting and keeping campaigns on track. This includes updating the many different systems our clients use, such as website updates, social media scheduling, setting up and reporting on the success of campaigns.
She also gets all clients up and running with contracts, deals easily with multiple currencies, and sorts out invoices and payments and lots more.
Sophie is an associate with Transform Communications, working closely with the company since 2009. With a background in PR and Marketing, she is known for imagination, vision and people skills.
You couldn’t find a better person than Sophie at media relations. With a sharp and witty style, she builds great relationships with key press. A skilled copywriter, Sophie has worked for a wide variety of clients producing superb copy, advertising and publicity material.
Previously Sophie worked as a journalist for various broadsheets and best-selling newsstand publications including The Times T2, The Telegraph Weekend, The Telegraph Lifestyle, Top Gear, Car Magazine, Executive Woman and Mother & Baby. With her press background, Sophie ‘thinks from the other side of the desk’ and provides editors with the news that they want. This experience is invaluable in linking opportunity to coverage.
With over twenty years’ experience in copywriting and communications, Alex has worked with a wide range of clients, from big brands (Coca-Cola, WH Smith, The Body Shop) to the charity sector (The Prince’s Trust, RNID, 4Children), along with social enterprises, start-ups and government.
Being a writer as well as a communications professional gives Alex an edge. It lends her a strategic approach to copywriting: she doesn’t just think about content, she considers its fit within the overall strategy.
Experienced at working to a tight brief, Alex turns projects around quickly while still delivering on quality and attention to detail. She values the importance of a client’s trust, asking the right questions and listening actively to the answers. She also appreciates the importance of flexibility – what a client needs today can sometimes change dramatically by tomorrow. As a published novelist, Alex not only knows how to create a powerful narrative, but ensures it's structure, content and presentation will make the market sit up and take notice.
Kim has more than 20 years’ experience in marketing communications consultancy and has worked across many industry sectors. She is our business to business specialist with very strong journalist contacts across the HR, manufacturing and management press.
Clients she has worked for include Nabarro Nathanson, BiC, Mars Drinks, Festo Training and Consulting, DDI, Verifone, Bath Consultancy Group, Association for Coaching, Psychological Consultancy Ltd and Disruptive HR.
She provides a strategic input into content marketing, helping to structure authentic content that can be re-purposed across multiple platforms, such as white papers, social media, research, media relations, blogs and speaker opportunities.
